Finance Systems Manager

An excellent opportunity has opened up for a Finance Systems Manager to take ownership of finance technology systems in a leading professional services firm. This role is central to maintaining and enhancing the firm's practice management system and delivering a seamless user experience across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

Manage and maintain the core finance system (Aderant), ensuring stability, security, and accuracy
Lead system upgrades, including a major transition to a cloud-based platform
Oversee user permissions, troubleshoot technical issues, and liaise with vendors and IT teams
Plan and implement new features, integrations, and data migrations
Provide user training and support to increase confidence and efficiency across teams
Support reporting, compliance, and data management needs for Finance

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience supporting and configuring Aderant (or similar systems) in a professional services environment
Strong project management and troubleshooting skills
A tech-savvy mindset, with confidence in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools like Power BI or SSRS
Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical users
A detail-oriented, methodical approach with the ability to manage competing priorities

Bonus points if you have:

An accountancy or finance systems background
Experience with compliance reporting and system controls in regulated environments
