Fire Risk and Legionella Risk Assessor

Our client is seeking an experienced Fire & Legionella Risk Assessor to join their growing team. If you hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and are ready for a new challenge, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

The Role:

As a Fire & Legionella Risk Assessor, you’ll be responsible for delivering Fire Risk Assessments and Legionella Risk Assessments for clients across the UK. Working closely with the Compliance team in the Risk Solutions Department, you’ll provide practical, common-sense solutions to client needs while also helping to shape and develop our clients Fire & Legionella offering.

Role and responsibilities:

• To provide technical fire safety advice and practical solutions to our clients.
• Complete Fire Risk Assessments for our clients across the UK.
• Hold the role of BAFE Validator.
• Act as a Fire Safety Expert internally, as well as client facing.
• Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in both hot and cold water systems.
• Providing clients with technical advice that includes remedial actions.
• Ensure that templates for RA’s are kept up to date and amended in line with legislation.
• Provide quotes to clients for the cost of assessments whilst managing own diary to fulfil these requests.
• Assist with actively identifying opportunities to work with colleagues across the wider business in order to capitalise on cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by the Company as well as changing legislation that may create new opportunities for the business.
• Meet with prospective clients, understand their needs and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
• To ensure that all work being carried out, either internally or externally, is constantly in line with the company’s vision and mission.
• To assist the Business Development Team and Development Director in queries that they may have with prospective clients, ensuring that they are steered in the correct manner when working on new or renewed business.
• To collaborate effectively and efficiently with other managers
• To collaborate effectively and efficiently with other departments, ensuring that their services are continually brought to the attention of the H&S Advisors, and that cross-selling opportunities are embraced
• Ensure that the quality of the service is being achieved in line with the expectations of the Directors of the Group and also our clients

We’re looking for someone with a passion for helping businesses manage risk in a professional yet personable way. You’ll be client-focused, confident in building relationships, and skilled at providing clear, practical solutions.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments
• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering Legionella Risk Assessments
• NEBOSH Fire / Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment
• C&G Legionella Hot & Cold-Water Systems qualification
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel (with occasional overnight stays – all expenses paid)

This position is remote, requiring travel to client sites nationwide
