An established and forward-thinking law firm in Manchester is looking to recruit a Grade B Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3-5+ years' PQE who is passionate about delivering justice for clients affected by medical negligence.

About the Role

You'll manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including complex and high-value claims. You'll work in a supportive, collaborative team environment that values integrity, technical skill, and client care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handling a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from instruction through to settlement or trial
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including letters of claim and expert instructions
• Liaising with clients, medical experts, and counsel
• Contributing to team discussions, training, and development
• Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining compliance with firm procedures

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Experience with claims up to £250,000
• Grade B status (typically 3-8 years' PQE) with solid experience in clinical negligence
• A strong track record of managing files independently
• Excellent client-handling skills and a compassionate approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Desire to grow within a busy and well-regarded team
