Group Tax Manager

Interim Group Tax Manager
Leeds (1–2 days/week, flexible hybrid working)
4–6 Month Contract | Immediate Start Preferred

We are seeking an experienced Interim Group Tax Manager to join our team for a 4–6 month assignment, supporting a high-growth, international group through a critical period of tax compliance, reporting, and strategic projects.

Corporate Tax & Compliance

• Finalise UK compliance computations in collaboration with Grant Thornton, including:
• Oversee monthly tax provisioning
• Support year-end tax provisioning and forecasting

Transfer Pricing & International Tax

• Finalise US/UK transfer pricing documentation and intra-group transaction file notes
• Coordinate US federal and state tax compliance with US finance and GT teams

VAT Oversight

• Review and submit UK and Irish VAT returns, including:
  
  • Deal fee recoverability analysis (continuation vehicle)
  • Group VAT return post-transaction

Strategic & Ad Hoc Projects

• Support post-transaction integration and outstanding tax actions
• Revisit US group debt/equity structure from a UK compliance perspective
• Maintain and update the Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) file

• ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong UK corporate tax background with exposure to international tax
• Comfortable working with complex Excel models and tax provisioning
• Confident managing external advisors and coordinating across jurisdictions
• Available to start at short notice
