Hardware Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a dedicated Hardware Engineering Team Lead who will drive knowledge and capability uplift across our teams, ensuring both our Product Consultants and Field Service Engineers are equipped with deep and current knowledge of the Tevalis ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities

Team Upskilling & Enablement

• Develop and deliver structured technical training programmes for the Project Consultant and engineering teams.


• Support the ongoing development of a remote team of Field Service Engineers, focusing on deepening their understanding of Tevalis systems, infrastructure, and operational workflows.


• Provide remote installation support for Field Service engineers and non-managed installations.


• Act as a point of technical escalation and subject matter expertise for both internal and field-based teams.

System Knowledge Development

• Continuously assess and refine training materials and knowledge bases to reflect product updates and best practices.


• Create clear, accessible documentation and guides to support self-led learning and reference.

Project Services Collaboration

• Work closely with the Director of Project Services to align team capability development with wider departmental goals.


• Assist in project-based technical deployments and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills, Experience & Personal Qualities 

• Proven experience in a technical consultancy, training, or support role, ideally within a SaaS or hospitality technology environment.


• Strong working knowledge of the Tevalis system (or a comparable enterprise POS/stock management system).


• Confident in delivering training both in-person and remotely to varied audiences.


• Experience supporting or working alongside Field Engineers and IT teams.


• Hands-on technical experience with desktop systems, networking basics, and general IT support.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
