We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Fleet Improvement to join our Fleet Team. This is a primarily remote role with national travel required to attend bases/meetings etc.
This is a new role focussing on continuous improvement and excellence, working alongside the locally based fleet operations teams.
Reporting to and deputising for senior fleet leadership, the Head of Fleet Improvement will lead the strategic development, performance, and compliance of our national ambulance fleet. This senior role is responsible for driving innovation, continuous improvement, and the transition to a zero-emission fleet, while ensuring fleet operations meet legal, financial, operational, and CQC requirements.
You will provide technical and strategic leadership across vehicle engineering, EV adoption, charging infrastructure, compliance, and sustainability. Working closely with Operations, Governance, HR, and Site teams, you will influence driving behaviours, improve reliability and availability, and play a pivotal role in EMED Group’s journey to carbon neutral.
