Job Description - Head of Legal Practice I Residential conveyancing

Head of Legal Practice

We're seeking a driven and experienced Head of Legal Practice (HoLP) to lead a dynamic, innovative CLC-regulated conveyancing practice. In this forward-thinking role, you’ll manage a talented legal team, develop strategic legal approaches, and ensure exceptional client service in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the legal team, providing direction and support
Develop and implement legal strategies in line with the company's objectives
Offer detailed legal advice and analysis to senior management
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on legislative changes
Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters, ensuring understanding of compliance

Ideal Skills and Experience

Proven experience in compliance and residential conveyancing; commercial experience a plus but not a prerequisite
Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Exceptional analytical and organisational abilities
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach

Job Details

Additional bonuses: annual performance bonus
Flexibility to work from home with travel to London once or twice p/m

Essential Experience

At least 7 years of residential conveyancing experience
1+ years of experience in a HoLP role (preferred)
Solicitor license required
UK work authorisation required
