Pay Range

£27,000 - £33,500

Working Hours/Pattern:

Full-time, although we would be happy to consider applicants who are looking to work on a part time basis. If you would like to explore this further please discuss this with the talent partner for this role. Please note our ability to accommodate flexible working arrangements will vary from role to role, dependent on business requirements.

Please note, this role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

What is the role about?

The Holistic Assessor is responsible for conducting remote and face-to-face assessments for individuals referred by the DWP who have complex and multiple health conditions and disabilities. The purpose of these assessments is to identify their work-related barriers and make tailored solutions while ensuring the participant feels heard and respected. The role also includes producing detailed, accurate reports that meet DWP standards, liaising with suppliers, and sourcing cost-effective support options.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Initial checks and fact-finding about the participants' difficulties at work, from both the employee and their line manager/employer.

  • Checks and fact-finding about the participants' specific role and working environment.

  • Review of any existing adjustments already in place.

  • Prepare a comprehensive written report of the findings and specific recommendations on suitable adjustments.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with

Essential Attainments & Criteria: 

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in relevant equivalent role- assessing complex individual needs

  • Educated to degree level in related Health discipline, (psychology, OT, physio)

  • Ability travel with access to their own vehicle (potentially not applicable for central London)

  • Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check

Desirable Attainment & Criteria: 

  • IT literate

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience of assessing a full complement of complex and multiple health conditions and disabilities and using insight to read between the lines or interpret the participants needs
