Homebased Paraplanner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners by preparing comprehensive reports, conducting thorough analysis, and ensuring that all documentation is meticulously organised. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial planning principles.

Duties

• Assist financial planners in the preparation of client reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct detailed analysis of client financial situations to support the development of tailored financial plans.
• Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
• Tax calculations
• Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with the advisers
• Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
• Run cashflow models for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify any queries regarding their financial plans.
• Utilise IT tools and software such a Intelliflo, XPlan, and various Platforms
• Maintain an organised filing system for all client records and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for report submissions and client meetings.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paraplanner is essential
• DIP LEVEL 4 in financial Advice is essential
• Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong working knowledge of Pensions, Investments and IHT products is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and other office software essential for document preparation.
• Highly organised with exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A keen interest in financial planning principles and practices is advantageous.
