Housing Disrepair Fee Earner

Sacco Mann is recruiting for a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join a leading firm in a remote working role. The firm work within Personal Injury, Housing Disrepair, Clinical Negligence and Conveyancing and are recognised by the Legal 500 with over 25 years' experience. The firm are also committed members of APIL (Association for Personal Injury Lawyers) and a dedicated law firm for Headway.

This is a remote role, with 4 days a month to be worked in the Newcastle office. This would usually be 2 office working days every 2 weeks. The firm are keen to speak with those who have links to Liverpool and Manchester.

The role

You will be running your own claimant housing disrepair caseload consisting of approximately 75 matters.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload from instruction to settlement.
• Reviewing incoming information related to cases.
• Processing files.
• Liaising with clients assessing level of claims.
• Reviewing witness statements.
• Drafting court documents.
• Negotiating with solicitors, courts and Counsel.

About You

• You must have previous housing disrepair experience including having dealt with litigated matters.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client communication skills.
