IT Systems Designer SDLC, Systems Analysis, ITIL

This superb, full time Solutions Designer opportunity is to support an increase in demand from high profile projects and business change initiatives across our leading financial services client's business.

Your exciting role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, prototype and guide the delivery of solutions across multiple components that meet the needs of the user, comply with design principles and fall within Brand Guidelines.

You will lead and support both technical design processes and embed the culture of good user experience, whilst ensuring the solution remains fit for purpose, meets the business and system(s) requirements and is successfully transitioned into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Accountabilities will include:

• Understand, evaluate and challenge IT system requirements from SME's and Business Analysts to ensure that they are complete and provide sufficient clarity to produce fit-for-purpose system design documents and enable accurate IT solution development estimates.
• Define all potential options for the end to end solution and make reasoned recommendations as to the suitability of options to ensure the Solution Designers are fully prepared to enable evidence-based decisions at the relevant boards.
• Coordinate, create, and maintain system design collateral ensuring it meets the business objective, aligns with architectural blueprints, design principles and fall within brand guidelines.
• Responsible for system designs and ensuring they adhere to documented design patterns and follow templates, standards and governance frameworks set out by the Solution Design function.
• Control and evaluate interaction and integration designs and enforce the integrity of the end-to-end user journey throughout the delivery lifecycle, to ensure that the final IT solution remains fit for purpose and meets the agreed business and user requirements.

Ideal experience:

• Strong and recent experience of IT system design and/or software development
• Road mapping/solution design
• Assist architects in creating 'Solution Vision'
• ITIL (v4) & COBIT awareness
• Experience of various software development methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex technical content and processes in a clear and coherent way
• Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels

This role is based in Warwickshire, however our client understands how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so to help you give your best, they offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home (1 day per week onsite, rest remote working).
