Junior Contracts Manager (Scaffolding)

We are looking for a Junior Contracts Manager to join our team. The Role

You’ll be based out of the Birmingham/Leicester area and be prepared to travel to Nationwide to projects as they land in your ownership. You will be the bridge between our clients and our Subcontractors. You’ll spend your time split between the Head Office, your home and site visits ensuring our projects stay on track, on budget, and—most importantly— stay safe.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Site Visits: Coordinating multiple sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas ensuring gangs have the gear and info they need.
• Site Management: Coordinating our Subcontractors across all Commercial sites in the Midlands ensuring our teams have everything they need to deliver projects on time.
• Client Liaison: Building relationships with the Main Contractor and Site Managers by instigating and attending progress meetings.
• H&S Compliance: Carrying out inspections and ensuring all work meets the latest TG20 and SG4 standards.
• Problem Solving: Identifying site issues before they become headaches.

Who We Are Looking For

• The On the Tools Expert: We highly encourage applications from Lead Hands, Advanced Scaffolders or Supervisors looking to move into a management role.
• Non Scaffolding Background Welcomed: If you aren't from the Scaffolding or Construction background don't be put off applying, if you think that this role could be a good fit for you then send us your CV.
• The Problem Solver: You know what a bad build looks like and how to fix it before this impacts our clients.
• The Communicator: You can hold your own in a pre-start meeting and clearly direct a gang on-site.
• The Essentials: Full UK Driving License essential. SMSTS/SSSTS and a valid CISRS card is a bonus, but we will provide training for the right person.
