Litigation Lawyer - 3 Month Contract

Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and complex caseload of non-insurance litigation matters.
  
  


• Offer practical legal advice to senior officers and client departments.
  
  


• Draft legal documents and instructions for Counsel.
  
  


• Attend meetings and undertake advocacy when required.
  
  


• Handle cases involving Adult Social Care debt recovery, property disputes, and commercial disputes.
  
  

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Lawyer with a valid practising certificate.
  
  


• Extensive litigation experience, preferably within a Local Authority setting.
  
  


• Proven ability to manage property, commercial, and debt recovery disputes.
  
  


• Strong skills in drafting, advocacy, and case management.
  
  


• Capable of working independently and managing multiple deadlines.
  
  


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
