Job Description - Manager Tax & Accounting (m/f/d)

You focus on tax matters and balance sheet accounting, particularly the preparation and auditing of annual financial statements according to HGB and, in the future, IFRS for our subsidiaries, especially in the markets of Italy, the USA, and the UK.
You optimize tax strategies and processes, create guidelines, and implement measures to improve the tax strategy, ensuring compliance and increasing efficiency, particularly in international markets.
You work closely with the accounting department, clarify accounting issues, and coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
You develop and manage both employee participation structures and investment vehicles, and are responsible for their accounting and annual financial statements.
You automate financial processes using tools like PowerQuery and Tableau, and continuously optimize internal processes.
You support internal and external audits and act as a point of contact for complex tax issues, including transfer pricing with foreign subsidiaries.
You manage the international expansion from a financial perspective and are familiar with the establishment and integration of international companies.

You have a university degree with excellent grades in business administration, tax, accounting or a related field.
You have 5+ years of experience in accounting and tax or a related field, ideally in a consulting or audit environment, and have experience in handling and supporting tax audits.
You have very good knowledge of tax law and accounting for corporations.
You are confident in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
You have an independent and structured way of working, coupled with a high level of team-orientation.
You are fluent in English and German.
