Mechancial Field Service Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Field Service Engineer.

The Mechanical Field Service Engineer will work along the M62 corridor and would suit candidates located in Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Liverpool, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, or Leeds.

The Mechanical Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and refurbishment of valves and actuators.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Field Service Engineer include:

• Conducting maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various engineering systems and equipment
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
• Providing technical support and guidance
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

We would be keen to speak with Mechanical Field Service Engineers with the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or similar role
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification is desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering systems and equipment (valves and actuators)
• Proficiency in diagnostics and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills for client interactions
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the M62 corridor
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions
