Paraplanning Manager

The Company: Highly ambitious and rapidly expanding wealth management group looking to recruit a Paraplanning Supervisor acting as oversight to paraplanning teams based out of York, Birmingham & London respectively. This will suit a QCF Level 6 Chartered (or close to) head who is looking for a flexible, home-based opportunity that remains hands on but is focused on being that technical POC for the group.

• Working Setup: 100% remote/home-based with very occasional travel

Package: £55-65k base + bonus & company benefits

• Holidays: 25 days holiday + stats
• Hours: 37.5hrs per week

The Role: With responsibility for teams across multiple sites this is a private wealth focused Paraplanning Supervisor type role designed to oversee the business’ technical support function. Duties & responsibilities include:

• Supporting and co-ordinating the work allocation and flow for Paraplanning staff
• Ensuring all Financial Planners are supported by at least one of the Paraplanning team so they optimize their time in front of clients.
• Working collaboratively with other regional team leaders including providing oversight of new business processing, implementation and planned review activity
• Identification of where the team needs development and implement plans to improve performance
• Observing meetings with the wider team including the Client Support, Planners and Paraplanners.
• Involvement in staff recruitment, personal development support as well as appraisals.

The Person: You will hold a supervisory background within paraplanning and technical support having ideally worked within a cashflow modelling/lifestyle planning styled firm prior. You must be QCF Level 6 Chartered (or close to) with a track-record of managing workflows alongside operational oversight and staff development. Do you:
