We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our Northampton team.This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options. Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide payroll services to portfolio of clients varying in size and complexity
Process payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed)
Process starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, RTI submissions, pension deductions etc.
Set up PAYE scheme with HMRC and cease schemes when needed
Act as primary contact with HMRC for all PAYE related matters
Calculating auto enrolment pension deductions and ensuring compliance
Uploading pension contributions and starters to appropriate pension portals
BACS files submission
Submit HMRC RTI information, FPS and EPS ensuring deadlines are met
Preparation of P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations and other relevant forms as required
Liaise directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer phone queries, resolve problems and provide payroll support
Communicate with clients, other staff, Directors and the HM Revenue & Customs
Support clients in the day to day running of payroll systems
Support and assist other members of the team
Hybrid working after successful completion of your probationary period (three days in the office and two days at home)
