Principal Consultant - Specialty Insurance

You'll drive complex client engagements, shape transformation programmes, and help expand a thriving Specialty Markets practice backed by one of the UK’s top-rated consultancies. Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-impact strategic transformation engagements with London Market clients

• Act as Strategic Advisor to senior stakeholders on complex transformation programmes

• Originate and secure new consulting opportunities through industry networks

• Own and grow key client accounts, ensuring quality, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships

• Develop thought leadership, propositions, and go-to-market strategy for Specialty Markets

• Collaborate with internal teams to shape the growth and capability of the Practice

• Contribute to RFPs, proposal development, and pitch leadership

• Mentor and develop junior consultants to build future leadership capability

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in insurance or insurance consulting
• Years of solid experience focused on London Market
• Focused on a move into Specialty Consultancy – passion to see transformation
• Min 2:1 Degree level educated
• Proven track record of delivering transformation, operating models or digital projects for broker operations
• Strong commercial acumen with experience leading business development and winning work
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders
• Living within easy commute of London for hybrid work pattern
