We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a Private Client Tax Senior to join our Farnham Private Client Tax team. This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days to suit your lifestyle).You will work closely with Partners to support a wide variety of personal and business clients, complete tax returns and P11D compliance as well as support internal business development activities. You will be encouraged to attend client meetings and have regular contact with clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of private client tax clients and ensuring compliance with HMRC and in-house deadlines
Preparing and processing tax returns and P11Ds from information provided
Calculation and advice of liabilities, together with due dates of payment to client
Assisting with client queries and providing ad hoc advice where requested
Billing personal portfolio clients after work completed
Dealing with correspondence, telephone calls and arranging and attending meetings with clients and potential clients
Assisting partners and staff members with technical queries
Providing assistance to junior members of the team where appropriate
Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
Dealing with HMRC correspondence, telephone calls and enquiries
General support to the tax team as required
Hybrid working after successful completion of your probationary period (three days in the office and two days at home)
Flexible working (flexing your hours around the core working hours of 10am to 4pm)

We would like to hear from you if you have a minimum of 2 years UK practice experience. You will also have the following:
Ideally ATT qualified
Some accounts experience desirable
Strong customer focus & attention to detail
Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Team player
Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
Create a positive impression with clients and staff
