Property Loss Adjuster

Specialist Division of international insurance broker requires an experienced property adjuster.

• You will handle a varied caseload of landlords/buy to let, holiday homes/blocks of flats/non-standard properties, as well as some domestic and HNW (private clients) risks, generally 60/40 in favour of commercial.
• It requires cradle-to-grave claims handling, for losses generally up to £100,000 but could be higher if experience permits.
• You will be required to issue full ABI reports to the claims team who then review and provide instructions, so there is no delegated authority.
• The position is home-based handling losses throughout the Midlands.

About you:

• Candidates can live anywhere within the West or East Midlands, but must be prepared to travel extensively throughout the region from their home base.
• You should have a minimum of 3-4 years in a property adjusting role and be comfortable working on your own initiative without the need for daily supervision.
• Professional qualifications through ACII would be preferred but are by no means essential.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary budget up to £50,000 including car allowance, pension, private medical care and 25 days holiday.
