Retail Development Coordinator

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Retail Development Coordinator will report to the Senior Retail Development Manager. The role will support and coordinate across multiple areas of the business. As part of a fast-paced international consumer products team the role will provide ample opportunity for autonomy and ownership.
 

Location: This position is structured as a workplace hybrid arrangement, allowing employees to work both in the office and remotely to promote work-life balance aligned with Cloudco Entertainment’s policies and procedures. This position could be London based or Northwest of England based.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

RETAIL:

• Preparing bespoke retail pitch decks, one pagers, newsletters as needed.
• Working with creative department on retail pitch concepts and product concepts
• Coordination of samples for retail pitches, events and trade shows
• Ensure Consumer Products Calendar is fully up to date with key retail launches
• Work with International Agents twice yearly to supply and compile full retail listings overview by country and licensee
• Staying abreast of retail trends, retail activity and sharing with wider global CP team – creative, licensing and marketing.
• Own and update international retail buyer database
• Ensure all retail marketing submissions are as planned, as budgeted and delivered on time.
• Update Consumer Products sales Hub as DTR partnerships move through the system and coordinate with internal departments to progress
• Collect and store any instore retail activation photography for use in trade press and marketing sales materials.
• Ensure direct licensees and agents are fully supported and be that day to day point person for any retail related queries (in partnership with Senior Retail Development Manager)
• Ensure softlines visual retail placement calendar is updated monthly and shared internally and with agents and make Senior Retail Development Manager and EMEA Senior Licensing manager aware of products being submitted for approval monthly.
• Collate softline samples for retail pitches and licensee pitches ensuring delivery on time as required.
• Update fashion and softlines category decks for use in pitches and collect and store lifestyle imagery for use in any marketing activity
• Create quarterly softlines trend reports for central creative team, coordinating where possible feedback from our key softlines partners to better aid creative asset development.
• Collect and update Amazon store with Licensee ASIN’s as well as coordinating quarterly Amazon banner/creative refreshes.

GENERAL

• Work closely with Senior Retail Development Manager in meetings & trade shows and and attend as needed, including relevant events where CloudCo is hosting or managing clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams including, legal, marketing, finance, and product development to support in the execution of licensing deals to maximise efficiency.
• Travel to retail meetings as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 5+ years Licensing Experience
• Food and/or softlines licensee and retail coordination experience
• Personable and able to communicate with retail buyers across the globe
• Worked at a licensing agency or with licensing agencies
• Strong PPT skills
• Able to multitask
• Ideally would hold a UK driving license and be willing to travel regularly to London.
