A leading international manufacturer is seeking to expand its sales team within the automotive sector. The company is known for providing advanced material solutions that meet high standards of quality and performance in a variety of industries. As part of their continued growth in the automotive sector, our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to strengthen customer relationships and drive revenue growth across the automotive market.

The Role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts within the automotive market, optimising the existing portfolio, and delivering compliant, innovative technical foam solutions. The role combines strategic account 'farming' with strong collaboration across R&D and engineering teams to meet evolving customer needs and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in B2B technical sales, with strengths in both account management and business development. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential, along with a proactive and commercially focused approach. Analytical skills and experience working with CRM and BI tools to manage sales pipelines and analyse market data are important for success in this position.

Fluency in English is required, with additional languages such as German or French considered advantageous. The role involves regular travel throughout Europe, so a valid driving licence is necessary. Previous experience in the automotive foam or mobility sectors is highly desirable. A degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with supply chain processes, sales forecasting, and industry regulations will be an advantage.
