Scaffolders

 SCAFFOLDERS REQUIRED – PLYMOUTH NAVAL BASE 

MHR Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Scaffolders for an ongoing opportunity based at Plymouth Naval Base.

We are looking for reliable and experienced Scaffolders across all levels:

 PAY RATES
Advanced Scaffolder – £28.00 per hour
Part 2 Scaffolder – £25.00 per hour
Part 1 Scaffolder – £20.00 per hour

 Lodge allowance available for eligible candidates.

 THE ROLE

You will be working within a busy naval/industrial environment, carrying out the erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding to provide safe access for a range of trades.

Duties will include:
• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
• Building access scaffolds, working platforms, towers and temporary structures
• Installing scaffold around vessels, buildings, pipework, machinery and other industrial areas
• Modifying and adapting existing scaffolds as required
• Working to site instructions, drawings and relevant scaffold specifications
• Carrying out visual checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Working safely alongside other trades and site personnel
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all site, health & safety and naval base security procedures

Advanced Scaffolders may also be required to lead teams and undertake more complex scaffold structures.

 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant CISRS Scaffolding qualification – Part 1, Part 2 or Advanced
• Previous industrial/commercial scaffolding experience
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications and certifications must be provided
