My client, an electrical and mechanical contractor, is seeking a Security & Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team covering the Midlands area. They are an established business, operating for over 30 years, with an excellent reputation.

The Security & Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the service and maintenance of fire alarm systems and some installation work as required alongside the existing facilities team.

Security & Fire Alarm Engineer Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general upkeep of fire alarm systems across multiple sites
• Inspection of premises
• Conducting routine fire alarm maintenance
• Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Performing repairs and fixing faulty accessories
• Carry out installation work alongside the projects and installation team.

Security & Fire Alarm Engineer Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will need good knowledge of various fire alarm, safety, and security systems
• Proven experience as a Security and Fire Alarm Engineer
• Hands-on experience in working within the maintenance and service industry
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Excellent approach to health and safety following all guidelines required
• Full Driving License
• Relevant Fire Alarm qualifications and FIA training
