Senior Tax Manager - In-House

A global organisation at the forefront of renewables and battery development is seeking a Senior UK Tax Manager to lead its UK tax affairs. Reporting directly to the Group Tax Director, this is a broad and visible role with strategic input, operational ownership, and the chance to contribute to global initiatives.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of UK direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate tax, BEPS Pillar 2, R&D claims, and employment tax obligations. There’s also regular involvement in international projects and the opportunity to shape tax governance across the group.

Key Highlights:

• Strategic ownership of the UK tax function
• Lead HMRC relationships and manage audits
• Deliver tax disclosures for UK consolidated and entity accounts
• Play a key role in forecasting, risk management, and internal tax advisory
• Exposure to global tax projects and cross-functional collaboration

Ideal Profile:

• ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong UK corporate tax and tax accounting knowledge
• Confident working across senior stakeholders and HMRC
• Hands-on, commercially aware, and comfortable operating independently
• Strong project management and communication skills

Location & Package

• Largely remote with occasional office presence
• £85,000 to £100,000 + benefits
