Service Engineer

The company are a highly skilled engineering business that specialises in automatic entrance systems. They are looking for an experienced automatic or multiskilled technician.

We're expanding and looking for an experienced Automatic Door or Multiskilled Technician to join our team across Greater London. The role offers a competitive salary, regular overtime, and the chance to work with a wide range of door systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and maintain automatic and industrial doors to industry standards
• Work on a variety of manufacturers' products - both electronic and mechanical
• Fault-find and diagnose technical issues efficiently
• Recommend and communicate solutions to customers
• Complete documentation and reports using a tablet (iPad) and customer portals
• Adhere to health and safety standards and relevant regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an automatic door engineer (essential)
• EN16005 or BS7036 certification and CSCS card (required)
• Industrial door experience (desirable)
• IPAF licence (desirable)
• Confident using tablets and basic IT tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Self-motivated, flexible, and customer-focused with strong communication skills
