Social Worker - Kinship Team

Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Chelmsford to recruit for an Social Worker - Kinship Team within the Social Care Industry on a permanent basis paying £37,185 - £50,081 P/Annum.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising Regulation 24 Foster Carers
• Undertaking Special Guardianship Assessments
• Representing carers at the Fostering Panel
• Providing evidence to the court when necessary
• Working in partnership with the Children's Social Worker
• Connected Persons Assessments
• Giving evidence in Court

Experience preferred:

• Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in a Kinship Team within the UK Social Care industry.
• Experience of attending Court, fostering panel and to produce good quality reports is beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

• HCPC Registration
• 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Driving licence and car or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.
