Tax Manager

JSS Tax are hiring for a Direct Tax Manager for a leading international FMCG company.

The role is based in the head office located near to Coventry, but supports up to 4 days per week remote-working.

This is a permanent full-time position paying circa £70k-£80k plus bonus and benefits package.

Working as part of a small high-calibre in-house tax team, the Direct Tax Manager will take on a varied role including UK corporation tax, International Tax (Europe), Transfer Pricing, employment tax and R&D tax.

The position has a nice mix of tax compliance (review and preparation), tax accounting and reporting, responding to tax queries, tax project work and business partnering.

The company are looking for a strong background in UK corporation tax, and with strong communication skills being highly important due to the business partnering and advisory elements.

Its a great opportunity for an individual in practice looking for their first role in industry, but equally could suit someone with in-house experience who wants a greater amount of advisory/project work, more flexibility to work from home, or just a step up in remuneration.
