Technical Application Analyst( Hydrogrid)

We are looking for an applications engineer with experience of supporting energy sector or similar application portfolios. Experience of supporting a diverse portfolio of applications, primarily Hydrogrid or similar.

Location Scotland.

• Previous extensive experience as an applications analyst regularly troubleshooting and ensuring smooth running of the system
• Experience of supporting energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL and necessary database interfaces
• Experience working and liasing closely with vendors and has the ability to keep them on track
• Analytical skills
• Application interoperability, integrations, data flows, functionality overlap
• Real-time data/Hydrogrid/understanding
• Database knowledge
• Automation/Scripting skills – python (desirable)
• Reporting and presenting skills
• Understating on allocation, system configuration and performance, production/lost production figures
• Familiar with agile and devops
• Fast learner and delivery focused
