Job Description - Technical Product Manager (London, UK)

The client is planning a group-wide rollout of Rightsline to manage rights workflows across the media it acquires, produces and publishes: video, images, audio and fonts, each with its own contract and asset management tools. The Technical Product Manager is the technical and administrative owner of that rollout, making sure every media management tool in the environment connects into the rights management solution. You will set the product direction for each phase of deployment, own configuration and workflow design for all global business units and the global strategy team, and act as the bridge between regional stakeholders and technical teams. This is a new role for the client and central to delivering Rightsline as the rights management tool for every business unit.

What you will do

  • Act as product owner for Rightsline, becoming a superuser who can translate current workflows into future-state ones inside the product. Support requirements gathering, base configuration, training, workflow development and reporting.
  • Deliver the product to every business unit, working with global strategy leads, global media services, and business unit engineers, designers, project managers and analysts.
  • Partner with global architecture and the business units to set and enforce system-wide configuration standards.
  • Translate complex operational needs into streamlined, automated workflows across Rightsline and the connected media management tools.
  • Create and run training sessions for new users.
  • Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex system issues affecting global operations.
  • Evaluate new features, manage global rollouts and lead technical validation of updates.
  • Oversee the integrity of data flows between Rightsline and other enterprise systems such as ERPs and data warehouses.

Must have

  • 4+ years administering a global enterprise SaaS product, including hands-on Rightsline experience.
  • Background in IP management, legal operations, contract management or media supply chain systems.
  • Track record managing stakeholders across time zones and business cultures.
  • Business analysis skills: able to document current processes and map them into a future-state environment.
  • Experience with REST APIs and webhooks for real-time data exchange across an enterprise stack.
  • Experience with role-based access control, SSO configuration and security frameworks such as SOC 2.
  • SQL and Snowflake (or similar) for building cross-departmental dashboards.
  • Logic-based workflow configuration (conditional rules, date math) to automate processes without custom code.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to building AI-powered features for internal tools, ideally to streamline legal or editorial workflows.

Who does well here

  • Relationship builder with strong written and verbal skills, able to work diplomatically across departmental and national boundaries.
  • Self-driven, and sees projects through to completion.
  • Comfortable supporting a distributed team across global time zones
