You will represent a premium, high precision tooling manufacturer, managing an established Northern territory with significant revenue potential. The products are not entry level consumables. They are performance critical solutions used in demanding machining environments where accuracy, balance, and reliability matter.
If you enjoy selling on technical merit, building long term customer relationships, and being trusted for your expertise rather than your discounting ability, this is worth your attention.
Why This Role Is Attractive
You will:
• Take ownership of an established Northern territory with strong revenue potential
• Represent premium, high precision products known for quality and performance
• Sell solutions that genuinely improve machining accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
• Work independently with the backing of an established international engineering group
• Earn strong commission on realistic targets
• Have a clear, defined region with strong industrial density
This is a role for someone who takes pride in technical selling and wants to be seen as a trusted advisor, not just a rep.
The Business
Our client is a European market leader in high precision tool holding and a global specialist in shrinking, balancing, and presetting technology for the metal cutting industry.
With decades of engineering expertise and a reputation built on quality, they supply high end manufacturers who expect performance, reliability, and technical support at the highest level.
What You Will Be Doing
• Managing and developing a Northern territory from a home office base
• Selling technically consultative, advice intensive products into machining and manufacturing environments
• Visiting customers across the North East, North West and Yorkshire to demonstrate, advise, and develop relationships
• Supporting installations and delivering product training
• Responding to technical sales enquiries and providing high level customer support
• Representing the business at exhibitions and industry events
After initial training, you will run your region with a high degree of autonomy.
What You Bring
• Strong technical understanding, ideally with an engineering background
• Deep knowledge of tool clamping, milling, or metal cutting technology
• Around 10 years’ experience in technical sales
• The confidence to sell complex, premium products
• Commercial discipline with a customer first mindset
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
The Opportunity
This is a visible, high responsibility role within a premium engineering brand.
You will have the freedom to manage your territory properly, the backing of a technically strong organisation, and the opportunity to build long term customer partnerships across one of the UK’s strongest manufacturing regions.
If you want ownership, technical credibility, and realistic earning potential, this is worth a conversation.
