Technical Services Manager

An established and highly respected Wealth Management firm is seeking a Technical Manager to join their growing team.

Working alongside a Head of Technical and a group of experienced specialists, this is a chance to influence adviser support, content creation, and proposition development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as a technical expert for financial advisers and internal teams, primarily focused on pensions but also covering wider tax and planning issues (e.g. insurance bonds, CGT)
• Supporting the development of new propositions and marketing materials
• Delivering technical presentations and creating content for both internal and external audiences
• Identifying legislative and regulatory risks and opportunities affecting HNW financial planning
• Helping shape thought leadership and adviser training across the business
• Collaborating with distribution, marketing, and proposition functions

What we’re looking for:

• A financial planning professional with strong pensions knowledge.
• Experience in a technical role within wealth management, a life company, or investment platform
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to speak in front of adviser audiences
• Level 4 qualified as a minimum – ideally Chartered or working towards
• Strong knowledge of broader planning areas such as taxation of investments, CGT, and trusts

The role can be based anywhere in the UK and align to a regional office, with ad hoc travel to events and team sessions.

This is a position with real variety, visibility, and scope to evolve. You’ll be involved in shaping the technical voice of the business, supporting advisers across the UK, and helping build future-facing solutions for high-net-worth clients.
