Technical Support Lawyer - Residential Conveyancing

Job Role
As a Technical Support Lawyer, you will play a key role in supporting the Residential Property teams, providing expert legal guidance on complex conveyancing matters, reviewing documentation for compliance, and helping to manage legal risk across development sites.

Key Responsibilities
* Drafting contract report letters and conveyancing search reports
* Reviewing development documentation for suitability in sales and lending
* Advising on technical conveyancing queries across the department
* Supporting file reviews for compliance and risk management

Job Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Residential Property
* In-depth knowledge of conveyancing law, especially in new build and development matters
* Familiarity with the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
* Experience with legal tech such as case management systems and Land Registry portal
* Strong communication and decision-making skills, particularly around legal risk and compliance
