Understanding Autism Tutor

Our client is a well-established, national training provider. They are looking for a Remote SEN Tutor Trainer to join their team.

Purpose of the SEN Tutor Trainer role:

The purpose of the role is to deliver Level 2 in Understanding Autism and Understanding Behaviour that Challenges.

SEN Tutor Trainer Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Facilitate soft skills, English, Maths & ICT when required
• Support learners with the skills & knowledge needed to support individuals with SEN
• Conduct initial assessments
• Conduct initial assessments
• Monitor learners' progress and ensure the CRM is kept up to date
• Mentor and teach adult learners to excel as future SEN Tutors

The Perfect SEN Tutor Trainer Will Have the Following Requirements:

• Experience teaching Level 2 in "Understanding Autism" & "Understanding Behaviour that Challenges" qualifications
• Experience teaching and mentoring SEN Tutors

Qualifications Required for the SEN Tutor Trainer:

• Teaching qualifications at or above level 3 (e.g. PGCE, PTTLS equivalent etc.)
• Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths & ICT
• Familiarity with Quality standards, including the Ofsted inspection framework
