Job Description - Renewals Executive

Scope of Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-centric Renewals Executive to manage subscription renewals for our customers across the DEM and Infra Value streams. Reporting to our Head of Sales Operations and Strategy, you will focus on building lasting client relationships, securing multi-year agreements, and mitigating customer attrition. You will use data-driven insights to enhance the renewal process , while deliver an customer experience.

This person will be located in our London HQ, on a hybrid work schedule.

As a Renewals Executive, you will:

  • Proactively engage with customers to foster strong relationships, promote multi-year agreement renewals, and address potential concerns to minimise attrition.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell/cross-sell and collaborate with the sales team to maximise revenue.
  • Coordinate with our teams (Sales Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance) to ensure accurate pricing and contract terms.
  • Support reporting efforts by preparing renewal status updates and performance metrics.
  • Support process automation projects to enhance efficiency in the renewals process.
  • Experience with CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools.
  • Create renewal quotes, contracts, and invoices.
  • Maintain and update renewal records in CRM systems (Salesforce and Uptrends Admin).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and renewal best practices.
  • Enhance process documentation so clear processes and procedures are followed.
  • Track, manage, and process customer subscription renewals.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (B2-C2 level).
  • Experience: 3+ years in renewals, account management, customer success, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with subscription-based or SaaS businesses.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a preferable skill.
  • Knowledge of contract management, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Understanding with CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; able to work at pace on multiple deals at once.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
