Renewals Team Leader

A well-established insurance group who has a number of sites across the UK and are a well renowned Wheels Insurance specialist now seek to appoint a new Renewals Team Leader to join their Taxi Insurance team, based in Glasgow (G4). Please note they are not looking for someone to start until the end of October/start of November.

This position will report directly into the Head of Renewals for the group, with them looking to you to manage the Scotland region of the business, being based in the Glasgow office, and managing a team of 3 here, but also taking responsibility for remotely manging several other renewals staff who are based in other areas of Scotland.

You will be responsible for all the day to day management of your teams, including 1-2-1's, target setting, reviewing renewals reports and figures as well as handling some of your own clients too. You will also get the chance to deputise for the Head of Renewals in their absence too. So this is a great opportunity for someone to step into a role with lots of responsibility within the existing business area of this growing broker.

You must also have at least 3/4 years insurance experience, gained at either a broker or insurer, and this will ideally need to be wheels based, so either Private Motor, Commercial Vehicle, Taxi or Motor Trade. Management experience would be a big added bonus for them, though not essential, if you are ambitious and career minded and looking for a step up into a management role.

Basic salary on offer is £29-35,000, plus monthly bonuses (£300-£750pm) with 20 days holiday to start.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, and they would consider those who want to do 1/2 days a week from home if required.
