Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade F - £30,296 to £33,024 per annum

About the Role
As a Rent Account Manager, you will possess the drive and commitment to help us offer our tenants excellent, customer-focused service and maximise rental income through detailed advice, support and assistance regarding rent arrears and welfare benefits.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in rent collection and pursuing rent arrears including a working knowledge of legal procedures related to rent arrears and other debt recovery
Knowledge of housing benefits and welfare benefits
Demonstrated capacity to effectively organise, use own initiative to prioritise workload to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner
Experience of working in a housing environment and an ability to learn
Must demonstrate an awareness and understanding of equality issues and a commitment to the implementation of NCCs Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and objectives
Demonstrated self-motivation, and able to work with minimum of supervision.
