Rent and Service Charge Assistant | Permanent | £28,000 - £30,000 | Hybrid | Lancashire

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable Housing Association in the Lancashire area who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Assistant to their busy finance team. The role is offered on a permanent basis, with hybrid working and a great benefits package.

Duties:

• Responsible for calculating the annual rent increases, ensuring they remain inline with tenancy agreements and regulations
• Assist with the preparation of annual service charge budgets and with quarterly forecasts
• Process weekly rent debit and prepare reconciliations
• Accurately record service charge, rents and leases
• Downloading/Analysing financial data
• Produce occasional reports as and when required and assist with audit

Experience:

• Experience working in social housing
• Experience/knowledge of rent and service charge
• Strong attention to detail and able to work analytically
• Great technical ability and excellent excel skills
