Job Description - Repair Technician

Are you a hands on technician with experience in mechanical repairs and fault finding?
Our client, a specialist in temperature control solutions, is looking for a Repair Technician to join a workshop team, supporting the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of specialist hire equipment.
As a Repair Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing the company's hire equipment fleet. You'll troubleshoot faults, complete repairs, ensuring equipment meets high standards and remains operational for customers across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across the hire equipment fleet.
* Strip down, repair and reassemble chillers, pumps, motors and heat exchangers
* Replace faulty components and complete repairs
* Support the business refurbishment programme
Who They’re Looking For:
* Competent with basic hand and power tools
* Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
* Basic IT literacy and proficiency using a PC and MS Office Suite
* Mechanical Engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship, advantageous
* F-Gas, desirable
* UK driving licence
