* A strong understanding of direct labour organisations (DLOs) and their operational delivery.

* Proven experience of leading, supervising and motivating a large maintenance or repairs team.

* A demonstrable track record of delivering excellent customer service and improving resident satisfaction against performance targets and KPIs.

* Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.

* Experience of implementing and maintaining robust health and safety practices, including working at height, manual handling, asbestos awareness and day-to-day compliance.

* Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to manage resources and deliver value for money.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

* A proactive, results-driven approach, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve productivity, performance and service quality.

Working Arrangements

This role is based in Stratford, London, with hybrid working arrangements. Approximately 20%–40% of your contractual hours will be spent working from the reporting office or designated work location.
