We are recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join a busy Local Authority Housing & Repairs service.
You will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day repairs, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and residents receive a responsive service.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs to operatives and contractors. Arrange and manage appointments with residents. Monitor outstanding repairs and follow up on delayed jobs. Deal with cancellations, changes and urgent repair requests. Update repairs and scheduling systems accurately. Liaise with operatives, contractors and internal teams to resolve scheduling issues. Ensure repairs are completed within required timescales.
About You
Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, Repairs Coordinator or similar. Essential experience working within a maintenance/repairs environment. Local authority, housing association, social housing or property maintenance experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisation, communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage a busy workload and changing priorities Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
