Repairs Supervisor

Artisan Agency is working with a leading UK property services specialist to recruit an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to join their team.

Our client is a trusted property services specialist delivering responsive repairs, planned works, refurbishments and voids services across the UK. They support housing providers and public sector clients with high-quality maintenance and compliance services, helping to keep residents safe, properties well maintained and communities supported.

We’re looking for an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to oversee teams of subcontractors. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day enquiries, performance management and service quality, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong trade knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and guide a mobile workforce delivering first-time fixes and positive resident experiences.

Responsibilities

You will supervise a team of subcontractors delivering damp and mould repairs and maintenance, ensuring all jobs are completed on time, to specification and to the required quality standards.

You will manage productivity, performance and quality through regular monitoring and site visits, reviewing completed works, coding accuracy and the justification of any variations.

Working closely with planners, administrators and client teams, you will help maintain a smooth workflow and ensure accurate reporting across all works.

You will ensure that all works comply with Health & Safety, quality and regulatory requirements. This will include delivering toolbox talks, completing risk assessments and carrying out site inspections, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will support resource planning and coordination, while building strong working relationships with residents, clients and colleagues and maintaining a professional approach at all times.

You will also have the opportunity to mentor apprentices and support the development of team capability.

About You

You will have proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Damp & Mould Supervisor, Senior Operative or similar role within social housing, property maintenance or a related environment.

You will have excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades, together with a good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance processes.

Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics is essential, alongside strong communication and organisational skills.

You will be IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.

A valid CSCS card is required, with SSSTS, SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely preferred.

A full UK driving licence is also required
