Reporting Accountant

Your new company
Hays are delighted to be supporting one of our key clients within Fife as they look to recruit for an exciting permanent position within their financial reporting team to take a proactive lead in financial and non-financial stakeholder engagement, focusing their efforts particularly in capex reporting and fixed asset register. You will be joining a market leading organisation that is known on a local, national and international scale within the manufacturing industry.
Your new role
In your new role you will take a proactive lead in communicating with wider business operations to provide an accurate account of timely financial reporting including month and year end, maintain the fixed asset register on a group level and being the expert in capital spend. This role will be pivotal in supporting and advising budget holders with financial information that will support in management decisions and positively impact the continued growth and development of business entities.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be a qualified or qualified by experience Accountant who is motivated by stakeholder engagement and has a proactive willingness to be present amongst wider business operations. Previous experience in leading on capital spend, presenting financial information to budget holders within an organisation and confidently advising on financial information to non-financial stakeholders will be of significant importance.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on your level of experience, and further negotiations on salary can be considered should you demonstrate a sound knowledge within capex reporting and fixed asset register in addition to proactive stakeholder engagement. You will be joining an innovative, market leading organisation surrounded by a collaborative finance team.
