Reporting & Insights Analyst

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for operational and senior stakeholders
  
• Translate business, regulatory, or service questions into meaningful metrics
  
• Ensure consistency of definitions, calculations, and data sources
  

• Analyse trends, patterns, and exceptions across service or programme data
  
• Provide narrative insight alongside metrics — not just charts
  
• Highlight emerging risks, dependencies, or areas requiring intervention
  

• Report on service usage, operational performance, and health indicators
  
• Work with monitoring or telemetry data where available
  
• Support continuous improvement through data -led insight
  

• Maintain documentation for reports, metrics, and assumptions
  
• Support auditability and stakeholder confidence in reported figures
  

• Strong experience with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent)
  
• Ability to model data and create clear, stakeholder -friendly dashboards
  
• Comfortable working with evolving or imperfect data
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
