Research Analyst - Automotive

Our client is a leading consultancy firm renowned for solving complex challenges in the Automotive and Industrial sectors. They are searching for a dedicated Permanent Research Analyst to join their team in London, United Kingdom.

• Conduct independent and creative research and market analysis, utilizing both internal and external sources.
• Support and drive research and analysis to assist business development, engagements, and marketing campaigns.
• Analyze competitor and market intelligence across Automotive and Industrial industry segments, producing insightful reports and presentations.
• Identify new business opportunities by leveraging diverse research tools and understanding changing industry dynamics.
• Support primary research efforts, including surveys, and collaborate with external research providers for quality market intelligence.

• Professional experience in a market research or consulting role, preferably with a focus on Automotive and Industrial sectors.
• Master's degree in business, financial subjects, or journalism with relevant industry focus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to conduct financial and performance analyses, managing resources to identify effective data sources.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German, French, Italian, or Mandarin is valuable.
• Proficient in MS-Office tools and comfortable with generative AI tools; experience with data visualization and CRM systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Factiva is preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities and work outside of normal business hours as project needs arise.
