Grade UE06: £34,610 - £39,906 per annum

CMVM / School of Neurological and Cardiovascular Sciences / Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences 

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed-term: 24 months (until 31/07/2028)

The Opportunity:

Applications are invited for a research assistant to join the Sullivan/Chandran labs within the UK-DRI, using iPSC-derived microglia, neurons and 3D-organoids to investigate sex differences in brain development in the context of early life infection. 

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Strong organisational, communication and critical thinking skills to drive success working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of key techniques in stem cell culture, molecular biology and microscopy.
