As Research Officer, you’ll be the engine behind high-quality research that shapes decisions across strategy, operations, and customer-facing services. Whether it’s scoping out a new customer consultation or investigating key issues like homelessness or climate change, your research will influence how the organisation works and where it’s heading.

You'll lead a range of qualitative and quantitative research projects - designing methodologies, conducting fieldwork, analysing results, and producing reports that land with real clarity. It’s a role where curiosity, rigour and the ability to tell a compelling story with data are all equally important.

You’ll be working across departments, bringing people together and championing the value of insight every step of the way. If you're passionate about turning data into decisions, and insight into action - this is your kind of role.

What you’ll bring..

You’re experienced in delivering both qual and quant research projects — from the ground up. You don’t just know how to run a focus group or write a survey — you know how to turn the results into stories and solutions.

You’ll likely bring experience such as:

• Leading research projects
• Running interviews, workshops and focus groups confidently
• Designing surveys and analysing data with a clear outcome in mind
• Producing clear, actionable reports tailored to different audiences
• Managing multiple research streams at once
• Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills

A research-related degree or MRS qualification would be a bonus, but it’s your hands-on experience in a commercial or public-sector setting that will really count here.
