Elite US law firm with stunning offices in the City is hiring an experienced Research Specialist to support its leading legal professionals with timely, high-quality information.

This is a busy role supporting the firm’s lawyers, paralegals, and business services staff with non-legal research across a wide range of subject areas, including corporate and financial transactions, intellectual property, and litigation.

Research Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse each request and identify the best research resources for efficient and cost-effective resolution
• Demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in research, including selecting resources and search strategies
• Present research results in a clear and logical manner with suggestions for further research if required
• Maintain a superior level of expertise using tools such as Westlaw Edge, Lexis+ UK and Practical Law, as well as specialised tools such as Capital IQ, Debtwire, Filings Expert, FromCounsel, MergerMarket, Newsdesk, Orbis, Preqin, Reorg, Solomonic, Vable etc.
• Assist with new joiner orientations and training
• Assist in the maintenance of hardcopy collections

Research Specialist Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a large law firm
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels across the firm
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and setting priorities is essential for this role
