Job Description - Researcher

RESEARCHER

A permanent opportunity to support a specialist recruitment agency as a Researcher!

Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful Researcher to join their recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and identifying top talent across various industries. Key duties include conducting initial phone screening of potential candidates, conducting market research, maintaining an up-to-date candidate database and helping to seek top level talent in the London job market. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in research tools, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within an innovative firm dedicated to matching exceptional candidates with leading companies.

RESEARCHER ROLE:

  • Interacting and networking with candidates, active, passive, and non-active job seekers with the view to building long-lasting relationships
  • Administering the database with subject matter additions and updates
  • Creating and maintaining candidate lists aligned to current and prospective disciplines of Treasury and Risk
  • Writing high-quality adverts and email campaigns, designed to grab attention and generate candidates from job boards, the website, and social media
  • Performing ad hoc administration
  • Developing competent skills in using professional job-seeking and networking sites
  • Generating leads through effective questioning, research, and staying close to the market
  • Identifying, qualifying, and subsequently shortlisting candidates for prospective and live vacancy searches
  • Building strong communication skills from handling all types of conversations with candidates, including but not limited to negotiating, objection management, and persuasion, all while protecting the consultative reputation the business has successfully built
  • Assisting with arranging and confirming candidate and client interviews
RESEARCHER ESSENTIALS:
  • Degree educated
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Preference for working in office-based environments
  • High attention to detail and desire to deliver top-quality work
