Job DescriptionResearcher - Digital, Design & ServicesLondon | £45-50k + BonusResearcher sought by a global Media & Events business, to play a key role in the company's continued growth plans over the coming years.This is a brand new role to enable the company’s successful growth in understanding the needs, behaviours, and preferences of our target audiences. They recognise the need for a researcher to help enhance their physical events and digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting user research across physical events, digital projects, events and media websites, and branding designs, providing valuable insights that inform the organisations product and design decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business, with the ambition to establish and grow a dedicated research capability internally.The role requires extensive collaboration with various departments including: Design Team (UX/UI Design): Work with designers to ensure user insights inform all stages of the design process, from initial concepts to final prototypes. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs, ensuring they meet user needs and preferences. Product Team: Partner with the product manager to align research activities with product development goals. Provide data-driven insights that guide feature prioritisation and product roadmaps. Ensure that user needs are at the forefront of product strategy. Event Team: Conduct research at physical events to understand user interactions and gather in-person feedback. Use this information to improve event design and enhance overall user engagement with their brand in real-world settings. Marketing Team (Website and App Analytics): Work with the Marketing Web Manager to analyse website and app usage data. Use analytics to uncover user behaviour patterns and identify areas for improvement. Combine these insights with qualitative research to form a holistic view of user experience. Research & Analysis:Oversee planning, implementation, and result reporting. Ensure clear communication and shared responsibility for the ownership of research findings. Plan and conduct user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics analysis. Work with the Product Manager developing user flows to visualise and communicate design concepts. Partner with UX/UI designers in creating wireframes, and prototypes. Key Skills & Experience:Experience in working with Designers, Developers, Product Managers and UX/UI Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies Proactive and positive attitude, with strong attention to detail & analytical skills Ability to adapt research methods to dynamic conditions across the digital and physical environment.
